A potential new sighting of the Loch Ness Monster has been reported. A Nessie enthusiast has shared a video in which a "long anaconda type neck" can be observed on the surface of the loch. ‌

On Tuesday, October 14, Loch Ness Monster enthusiast Eoin O Faodhagain was watching the Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcam when he saw something unusual. At 2.39pm, the Nessie hunter first spotted a "fast wake" half a mile behind the Spirit of Loch Ness tourist cruiser. ‌

Just over one minute later, O Faodhagain observed "a long thick neck" appear out of the water that he described as "thick as a man's thigh" and "over three to four feet out of the water". The shape moved parallel to the webcam at Shoreland Lodges, before turning right out of webcam's screen coverage. ‌
