HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — A Henderson teen learns his fate after a deadly 2024 shooting.
According to the Commonwealth Attorney's Office, 17-year-old Cameron Gilbert was sentenced to 15 years on Tuesday.
Officials say this was on the charges of Manslaughter-1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree, and Possession of a handgun by a minor.
As reported, the shooting occurred at the intersection of Cumnock and Mill Street last December.
Authorities say the victim, Clifford Hargis, had injuries to the abdomen, which ultimately resulted in his death.
