An Oklahoma City metro teacher is under investigation after claims of abuse toward a student were reported to police.
Body cam footage from the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office shows deputies confronting and arresting Roderick Kohl, a Special Education teacher at Council Grove Elementary in the Western Heights School District.
Deputies say Kohl is accused of throwing a computer mouse at a six-year-old non-verbal student with autism, hitting the student in the head.
The investigation is ongoing, but the Western Heights School District says it takes the safety and well-being of its students seriously.
The district also says the student's family and parents of all students in the classroom were notified about the incident.
