INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. — One person has died after a wrong-way crash on Highway 52 in Inver Grove Heights late Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says troopers responded to reports of a crash just before 10 p.m. near the junction of Highway 52 and 80th Street. The patrol's website indicates an 80-year-old woman driving a Saturn Vue entered the highway headed south in the northbound lanes, and hit a pickup truck driving the right way.

The website identifies the wrong-way driver as 80-year-old Phillis Lucille Deboth, who did not survive. Troopers say Deboth was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The driver of the pickup, a 60-year-old man from Birchwood, Wisconsin, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at Regions Hospital.
