SRINAGAR : Ahead of the upcoming Assembly session, Omar Abdullah-led Jammu and Kashmir is set to propose an increase in the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for MLAs from the current Rs 3 crore per annum to Rs 4 crore. Overall, out of the Rs 427.5 crore allocated under the CDF across Jammu and Kashmir for 2025-26, projects worth Rs 173.7 crore have been uploaded on the BEAMS portal. Of these, 2,437 works have been recommended by MLAs, representing around 41 per cent of the total allocation, official sources said.
