Ryan Thomas has been heard discussing his near-death experience, saying it was the 'most frightening day of my life'.

The former Coronation Street star was heard speaking about the horror incident on At Home with The Thomas Bro's, which he hosts with his younger brothers, Adam and Scott.

While his siblings initially didn't think he was being serious, Ryan ended up telling the full story. He said: "I have a near-death experience. It was the most frightening day of my life."

He explained that it was during his time on Corrie when the cast would be 'leant supercars'. Eighteen at the time, Ryan decided to stay in his friend's house in Glossop one night before needing to make it back into Manchester the next day for work.
