The weekly blotter includes incidents that occurred in the City of Sequim and in unincorporated Clallam County in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley area.
Clallam County Fire District 3 staff report that from Oct. 5 to Oct. 12 they responded to 227 calls for service.
Of those calls, battalion chiefs report there’s been an increase in calls for smoke investigations and/or the reporting of illegal burning with some calls resulting in small vegetation fires that have been controlled before spreading too far.
