Indian skipper Shubman Gill asserted that he does not refrain from taking bold decisions to bring the best out of his players after the Men in Blue won the Test series against West Indies by 2-0 in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Gill helped India draw 2-2 against England away from home in his first assignment as the skipper in the longest format. He has earned praise from all quarters for the way he has conducted himself in the public eye since assuming the leadership responsibilities.

"I try to make the most probable decision in the given situation that we're in that game. And sometimes you have to take a little bit of bold decisions and that X factor depending on which player can get you certain runs or can get you those wickets," he said.
