On Wednesday, high pressure will build eastward from the Plains to the Southeast U.S. A cool start to the day will quickly warm up. It will be mostly sunny and warmer with low humidity as northerly winds persist. High temperatures will be unseasonably warm in the mid-80s.

Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and warm, with low humidity levels. High temperatures will stay in the mid-80s each day. The dry weather pattern worsens the ongoing drought. Please, NO burning across Central Alabama. It will not take much to spark a fire. It will be less cool at night, with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s
