The second edition of nationwide "No Kings" protests, happening Saturday, Oct. 18, will include demonstrations in Columbia, Missouri, and other nearby locations.

"The president thinks his rule is absolute," reads a webpage on mobilize.us that has details about the Columbia protest . "But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty."

The "No Kings" protest in Columbia is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Boone County Courthouse plaza at 8th and Walnut streets.

Additional protests are scheduled across Missouri and nationwide, with three more planned within about 30 miles of Columbia.
