Ketchum City Council members expressed reservations last week about approving the size and location of a proposed single-family home development in the Knob Hill neighborhood just north of downtown Ketchum.

The development, proposed by real estate firm Presidio Vista Properties, will consolidate two lots and is a three-story, 6,212-square-foot home near the northern end of Walnut Avenue.

City Senior Planner Abby Rivin presented a brief background of the project to council members on Oct. 6. The P&Z had voted unanimously to approve the design in September. However, the commission’s decision was not without concerns, stating at the time that city land use code did not provide grounds on which they could have rejected the project, the Express previously reported.
