PARMA, Ohio -- Two decades in the making, Chagrin Falls native Brian Trapp’s debut novel, “Range of Motion ,” is finally coming out.
“I’ve been trying to write this book for my whole adult life,” said Trapp, a 2001 Chagrin Falls High School graduate, who is currently a disability studies director at the University of Oregon.
“I worked in 2001 at Camp Cheerful in Strongsville. That’s sort of how the story started. One of my campers escaped from a pool party in his power chair, and it was my fault. He was OK, but that was such an awesome, dramatic action. That’s kind of how I thought about it.”
