STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Trinity Health System could soon become part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center network under a proposed agreement announced this week.
Trinity’s parent organization, CommonSpirit Health, and UPMC have signed a nonbinding letter of intent to negotiate the integration of Trinity Health System into the UPMC system. The move aims to strengthen health care services for patients in the Ohio Valley region.
