(FOX40.COM) — The five-day strike continues for Kaiser Permanente health care workers across California and Hawaii, as they hold pickets on Wednesday.

From 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., workers with the Kaiser Medical Center in Roseville will be picketing as advocates push to address unsafe staffing, punishing schedules and burnouts, UNAC/UHCP officials said.

Meanwhile, Kaiser Permanente officials said the movements from the health workers with the UNAC/UHCP are about wages as they continue to negotiate with the Alliance of Health Care Unions to reach new agreements.

Pickets in Oakland and Santa Clara will also be taking place.
