Work continues to be done along State Route 28 in Tahoe City for the $31.7 million Caltrans pavement rehabilitation project.

Closures are happening on Wednesday and Thursday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. around Jackpine Street and Commons Beach Road, according to Caltrans. Crews will be raising utilities, curb ramps, performing minor electrical work and striping on the roadway.

Access to cross streets and driveways will remain open, but there is no street parking permitted in the construction zone, Caltrans explained.
