HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio —

Prosecutors are seeking a second opinion on the competency evaluation in the murder case of Rodney Hinton Jr.

Hinton Jr. is charged with the murder of Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Larry Henderson. Investigators say Hinton ran Henderson down in a car while Henderson was directing traffic outside the University of Cincinnati's graduation earlier this year.

Investigators say it came just hours after Hinton watched body camera video of officers shooting and killing his son, Ryan, as part of a stolen car investigation.
