EBENSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The Cambria County Planning Commission is inviting the public to a free open house to support and learn more about proposed plans for the West Hills Region of the county.
The commission is working with five regional municipalities, Brownstown, Southmont, and Westmont Boroughs, and lastly Upper and Lower Yoder townships, to develop a comprehensive plan titled "West Hills: Growing Together."
According to the Cambria County Planning Commission, the plan will discuss its shared vision for the region and what each municipality has in mind for future development opportunities and preservation. The multi-municipal plan is the first step in eventually setting priorities and programs to help residents while also playing a role in securing funding when the time comes.
