HOWARD, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A health clinic for residents and their pets is coming as State Representative Paul Takac (D-Centre), Centre County PAWS, and three Penn State entities come together to host the People, PAWS and PSU: A Health Clinic for Dogs, Cats and Their Humans.
The community event will offer low-cost vaccine services, including rabies, distemper, and kennel cough, as well as microchipping for pets through Centre County PAWS.
For the humans, the Penn State Lion Mobile Clinic, Penn State School of Nursing, and Penn State Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences will offer free flu shots and will also be on hand to share information about ticks and tick-borne illnesses.
