ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Local high school students discussed the future of the local job market with business leaders.

Juniors from 35 school districts attended the Youth Force Initiative summer at the Blair County Convention Center. They provided feedback with members of local county chambers of commerce, business officials and other leaders in different industries to help provide a better future for the upcoming adults in the area.

"We don't think enough about what kids actually are saying," Tom Butler, executive director of Appalachian Intermediate Unit 8, said. "So this is an opportunity for kids to have a voice in this process."
