Concerns about affordable housing and water supply and quality contributed to a decision by the Blaine County Planning and Zoning Commission to delay making a recommendation on the proposed Moonlight Meadows subdivision along Gannett Road.

The P&Z spent close to three hours on Oct. 9 reviewing the application for the proposed subdivision, located south of Bellevue on the triangle-shaped parcel between Gannett Road and Kingsbury Lane.

While the commissioners largely agreed the application complied with the county regulations and standards, there were enough notes and suggestions added they decided to continue the hearing until Nov. 6.

Once the P&Z votes on its recommendation, the application will go before the Blaine County Commissioners.
