A proposed development agreement before the city of Carey would bring a 58-unit residential development to a 22-acre property of agricultural land just off U.S Highway 20 west of town.
The City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. to consider the proposal for Mountain Breeze subdivision.
According to a public notice posted by the city, the applicant is Mustafa Khalifa representing Loren Real Estate LLC MSR Investment.
The development agreement would include annexation of the property’s proposed units into the city’s sewer and water system and include a previously approved preliminary plat for the new neighborhood, which would be built adjacent to Greenfield Way.
