On Monday, Oct. 13 Tempe will observe Indigenous Peoples’ Day and all administrative offices will be closed.

Police and Fire services will be unaffected by the holiday.

Tempe Courts and other nonemergency services will be closed.

All public transportation will run on a weekday schedule. The Transit store will be closed.

Trash and recycling will not be affected.

Parque de Soza Splash Pad, Esquer Park Splash Pad and Jaycee Park Splash Pad are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. All other pools will be closed

All Tempe cultural centers and museums will be closed. Tempe Public Library will also be closed.

The following will be open for the public:

Escalante Community Center, 2150 East Orange Street, will be open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. (480-350-5800).
