Prince Edward County is partnering with the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) to convert an unused road allowance into a pollinator-friendly corridor.
The Canadian Wildlife Federation partners with organizations in Ontario to provide funding and expertise to habitat restoration projects. The goal of this program is to conserve the habitat of monarch butterflies and to provide additional feeding and nesting habitat for hundreds of other pollinators and meadow species.
County staff will be implementing a CWF grant at the intersection of Bethesda Road and Fry Road from Wednesday, October 15 to Friday, October 31 .
