Some people wear their emotions on their sleeve. Italian PM Giorgia Meloni wears hers on her face, with her eyes.

A couple of days ago in Egypt for Donald Trump's Gaza peace summit, the cameras caught her in the background as the president spoke, her eyes rolling in what looked like unguarded contempt or impatience.

And it wasn't the first time the expressive Italian's eyes have danced their disapproval in front of the world media.

If Grace Tame mastered side eye, Meloni is the clear winner when it comes to eye rolling. She's done it to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and in whispered conversation with France's Emmanuel Macron at this year's G7 summit, which was widely interpreted as contempt for Donald Trump.
