KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - For the second time in three weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs ’ star quarterback has earned NFL honors.

Patrick Mahomes was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

Mahomes threw for 257 yards, completing 22 of his 30 passes for three touchdowns. Mahomes added 32 yards on the ground and a rushing score, leading the Chiefs to a 30-17 win.
