Vande Bharat 4.0 Train Launch: Indian Railways (IR) is gearing up to introduce a new version of the Vande Bharat Express train . Since its inception in 2019, the Vande Bharat series has transformed passenger rail travel in the country. Currently, the third-generation of Vande Bharat Express i.e. Vande Bharat 3.0 trains are in service.

Speaking at the 16th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the Vande Bharat Express has been a remarkable success, adding that the train stands on par with some of the best in the world in terms of technical standards.
