Boston's Logan International Airport is not playing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's video blaming Democrats for the government shutdown at its security checkpoints.

The controversial video features Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem warning travelers of impacts to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) operations because "Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government."

It began running at several airports across the country last week, but several others refuse to play it, saying the message's political content violates local laws.

A spokesperson for the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) – which owns and operates Logan Airport, L.G. Hanscom Field, and Worcester Regional Airport – said that it wasn't showing the video at any of its facilities.
