A former teacher and cheerleading coach in California who allegedly sent underage girls a video of his genitals claims the text was an accident and intended for a sex worker.
Nicholas Moseby, 43, who was arrested in September 2022, is on trial over accusations that he texted the naked video to two girls, aged 14 and 15. Moseby’s public defender Manisha Daryani told a Contra Costa County courtroom: “He talks to a lot of sex workers,” the East Bay Times reported.
“All of us have phones and all of us have accidentally texted the wrong person,” the attorney added. “It happens.”
However, since Moseby’s 2022 arrest, more alleged victims have come forward against the ex-teacher.
