The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Chad Handshy as chief financial officer, a position that is new to the organization.

According to a release, Handshy joins the chamber after having worked as CFO since 2021 for the American Theological Library Association. He will oversee financial, administrative and human resource functions for the chamber, its foundation and its related organizations.

Prior to his work with the American Theological Library Association, Handshy worked from 2006 to 2021 at Currey Ingram Academy, most recently as assistant head of school, finance and advancement. He also worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as assistant director, administration.
