PEORIA COUNTY ( 25News Now ) - The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a bar was vandalized overnight.

Deputies were called to the Last Chance Bar at 2713 W. Second St., for a report of the building being damaged.

Deputies noted extensive damage to the building’s interior and exterior when they arrived. In the sheriff’s office daily email, it was noted that power lines were pulled from the building, water lines and almost every window was broken, along with fencing and the beer garden being destroyed.

The sheriff’s office said it appears to be over $100,000 worth of damage.

The bar said it would not be opening Wednesday and should be open Thursday.

The bar also said everyone is safe and unharmed.
