PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — The annual Medicare Open Enrollment Period opened on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and this period can be used to add or change existing benefits for 2026.

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) is reminding Pennsylvanians that the period is now open and will remain open until Dec. 7. The changes you choose will then go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026. Beneficiaries can sign up for prescription drug coverage and health plans or they can review their current coverage to make changes that better suit their needs.
