CURRY COUNTY, Ore. - Remains believed to belong to Judith Roberts, an elderly woman missing since May, have been discovered in Curry County.
On May 16, Roberts left her home in West Linn in her white Volkswagen Jetta. She was last seen in Lincoln City at 2 p.m. that day, and her car was later captured by a Flock camera in Florence around 4 p.m. Her family mentioned that she might have been experiencing cognitive issues.
This morning, the Curry County Sheriff shared that a local hunter found Roberts' vehicle on a remote U.S. Forest Service road outside of Brookings on Saturday. The vehicle was located at the end of a heavily wooded and brushy road. The hunter found a wallet containing Roberts' identification inside the vehicle.
