No charges have been filed in connection with an altercation last year that injured actor Jamie Foxx when he was celebrating his birthday in December at a Beverly Hills restaurant.

Foxx received several stitches after a glass was thrown at him during the birthday event at Mr. Chow. The Grammy-winner was hit in the mouth by the glass thrown by someone at another table, his spokesperson said after the incident.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney told NBC4 Investigates that the case against the person who threw the glass was declined due to insufficient evidence. Sources said the Beverly Hills Police Department conducted its investigation and believed they had the person who threw the glass in custody.
