And just like that... Sabrina Carpenter is pulling double duty on " Saturday Night Live ."

The "Espresso" hitmaker is set to host and be the musical guest on the upcoming Oct. 18 episode of "SNL," and the late-night sketch comedy series just gave viewers the first taste of Carpenter's first time as host.

Carpenter channels Sarah Jessica Parker's iconic Carrie Bradshaw character in a " Sex and the City"-themed teaser released Oct. 15 in which she declares, "New York is one big apple, and I'm taking my bite at Saturday Night Live."

The 26-year-old walks down the hallway backstage at 30 Rock, passing a few "SNL" writers and cast members, poking fun at herself along the way.
