TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A wreck near the Dollar General on Erie Canal Road has caused the northbound lanes to be closed for a time.

According to our videographer on scene, a wreck occurred near the Dollar General location on Erie Canal Road that has caused the road to be closed as authorities deal with the aftermath. Our videographer stated that Vigo County Sheriff, EMS, Honey Creek Fire Department and Indiana State Police were all on scene assisting with the incident. Our videographer also stated that he witnessed an individual being pulled from a nearby ditch and transported by EMS.
