GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Pitt County residents have the opportunity to tour a new behavioral health urgent care scheduled to open in two weeks.

Integrated Family Services, along with the Department of Health and Human Services, and Trillium Health Resources, will hold a ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m. Monday at the new facility at 3005 Stantonsburg Road.

Guided tours will operate every 30 minutes from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the event.

The facility is set to open on October 27th. It will offer 24-hour care for 4-year-olds and up experiencing a mental health crisis.

Last week, Governor Josh Stein toured the facility and advocated for comprehensive mental health resources to enhance public safety in the state.
