The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision that severely injured a 64-year-old man.

On May 28, 2025, at 3:17 a.m., a bicyclist was traveling south on Hoover Street, on the west sidewalk crossing 20th Street, within the crosswalk. The bicyclist was struck by a white sedan, negotiating a left turn from northbound Hoover Street to westbound 20th Street. The driver of the white sedan failed to stop, identify themselves, and render aid to the pedestrians as required by law. The vehicle continued west on 20th Street towards the Interstate10 west on-ramp.
