JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — "Twisted Fork," a pasta and noodle bar in downtown Johnson City, has officially opened its doors.

The restaurant celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday. The restaurant's menu features Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine.

News Channel 11 attended the grand opening and spoke with Mina McVeigh, a founding partner of Johnson City Noodle Group. She said Twisted Fork is "going to make every kind of noodle that you could imagine."

McVeigh, along with Chef Ian and Chef Zach, co-owners of Twisted Fork, have spent nearly a year preparing for Wednesday's grand opening.

"These are young chefs; they needed a place to show off their skills," she said. "This building became available, and we decided to give the community something they could enjoy in the downtown."
