CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - One person was taken into custody following a police chase in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday.

Iowa State Patrol Troopers ended a vehicle chase that started near Highway 100 and concluded near the intersection of Highway 30 and Kirkwood Blvd SW on Wednesday afternoon.

The individual left the vehicle several minutes after initially refusing. Police then took the individual into custody without incident.

Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies, the Cedar Rapids Police Department, and other agencies responded to the incident.

No other information is known at this time.
