London’s Labatt Breweries is scoring another zero in the suds’ game.
Production has begun of Michelob Ultra Zero, a non-alcoholic version of the popular light beer, at the Horton Street plant.
It’s another line of products aimed at capturing the growing “non-alcohol beer segment continuing to gain momentum in Canada,” the company said in a news release.
The new beer comes on the heels of last spring’s announcement that the London brewery was producing Busch De-Alc , a 0.4 per cent alcohol lager, brewed from American hops, fine barley malt, cereal grains and pure water.
It also adds to the company’s zero-alcohol line-up that includes Corona Cero, which is ranked the top-selling non-alcoholic beer in the country.
