LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Police have arrested a suspect in a deadly stabbing at a Las Vegas park.

On Oct. 13, at around 4:30 p.m., the Clark County coroner's officer informed the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department about a man who died at a local hospital from a stab wound.

Police were able to determine that a medical call for service came in shortly after 11 a.m., referencing a man suffering from an unknown medical issue at a park in the 800 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard.

Medical personnel arrived at the park, determined the man was stabbed, and took him to a local hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead.

Through the investigation, detectives identified Darnell Davis, 45, as the suspect in this case.

On Oct. 14, police arrested Davis and booked him into the Clark County
