Another Hershey restaurant is changing gears.

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has announced Houlihan’s at 27 W. Chocolate Ave. at the Hershey Press Building is closing after 20 years and will reopen next year as Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar.

Houlihan’s will remain open until Dec. 31.

“Hershey Social will bring bold flavors, signature cocktails and over-the-top desserts inspired by Hershey’s chocolate roots to the vibrant downtown area,” according to a press statement.

Hershey Entertainment said Hershey Social will offer a casual setting and expanded bar. It will open in spring 2026.

Houlihan’s gift cards will be accepted through the end of the year. Also, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts gift cards can be used throughout the destination, including the new restaurant next spring.
