ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
The city of Albuquerque is offering the opportunity to get in the spirit of the season by hosting both Halloween and Dia de los Muertos events citywide.
The events, which will be for all ages, will range from haunted houses to pumpkin carving to library programs and pet parades.
Mayor Tim Keller illustrates how Halloween should be celebrated with excitement and imagination and not worry. Halloween excitement includes late nights, dark streets, and trick-or-treating far from home, so they are bringing festivities throughout neighborhoods that are indoors, when possible, well-lit and supervised, reducing risks and increasing access.
