EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Doña Ana County has selected Denisse Carter as the new economic development director, according to a news release.

Carter, who has over 17 years of experience in economic development, will lead the department's efforts by driving the County’s economic growth, continuing with business development, foreign trade zone oversight, and strategic planning efforts. She will also identify key roles needed and build the department’s skillset, aligned with the County’s strategic needs for economic development, according to the news release.
