SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The town of Longboat Key is waving the rebuilding permits in the restorations efforts after the devastating hurricanes Helene and Milton of the 2024 season.
The waived fees for the rebuilding permits will be valid through December 31, 2025.
In a report by the city, they will also be allowing refunds for permits that were paid in error, up to six months prior to the refund request for storm related damage with proof of verified storm damage permit fees.
