FOXBOROUGH – The decision to fire Mike Vrabel certainly hasn’t worked out for the Tennessee Titans.
Two years after his dismissal, the Titans organization has as many wins as Vrabel’s Patriots team does this year. The franchise, which recently fired coach Brian Callahan, is 4-19 since Vrabel’s exit. This weekend, the 4-2 Patriots travel to Tennessee to take on their coach’s former team.
Before Vrabel started preparing for his old team, he made sure to check in on their now former coach, Callahan.
“I don’t want to see anyone who shares a job with you to get let go,” Vrabel said on Wednesday. “That’s a tough feeling with family and school, whether it’s college or pro.”
Vrabel was the head coach of the Titans from 2019-to-2023. He led Tennessee to three-straight playoff appearances
