HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - The owner of several well-known and unique restaurants in Connecticut is facing more trouble.

RAW*, a popular seafood bar in Hartford, has been evicted.

The owner was the same woman who ran into tax and rent problems with her other restaurants , including The Place2Be.

On Wednesday, customers came across a lock on the front door of RAW* and an eviction notice.

“I wasn’t super surprised,” said Catherine Murphy who works near RAW*.

According to court paperwork, RAW* owed more than $18,000 for rent to the landlord.

Owner Gina Luari had until Friday to get out of the building.

“We used to go to Place2Be a lot it was definitely popular, but yeah, we saw it all in the news recently,” Murphy added.

She has also heard about all of the legal problems.
