ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The defense has rested in the trial of Austin Breyette -- the man accused of hitting University at Albany student Alexa Kropf with his dirt bike in 2024, and leaving the scene. Breyette took the stand in court today, providing an emotional testimony.

Austin Breyette was on the witness stand for hours on Wednesday. He described the moments before and after the collision, saying he never meant for this to happen. Prosecutors, however, argued that his actions were reckless.
