Lake Worth Police arrested two people in connection with a dog attack that left a woman seriously injured last Wednesday.
Christina Paté is still recovering from physical and emotional wounds.
“I was very strong, I used every inch– I’ve got scratches all over my back, because I was pushing the dog so hard. I was fighting for my life! I broke my bones and blood squirting everywhere,” she recalled.
Paté says the attack was unprovoked, while the owner stood by.
“She was watching. I’m just yelling at her to, ‘get your dog, get your dog off me!’ She didn’t until she wanted to,” Paté said.
Despite having dislocated fingers, Paté was able to call her kids and 911.
