SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A fatal shooting occurred in Slidell Wednesday, Oct. 15.

According to the Slidell Police Department, shortly before 5:00 p.m. officers responded to the area of Possum Hollow Park to reports of shots fired in that area. When officers arrived they found a victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital where they later died.
